Playing at table 10 he was the leading figure at the beginning of the Redraw day with the biggest chances of claiming the champion title. Unfortunately, he could not make it further than the 49th position which brought him €826 for his performance. On the other hand, the minimum cash payout claimed by the first player to experience windfall was €394 to the name of Andreas Thomas Lachnit.

When it comes to nicknames, many of the top positions on the official leader board were taken by players opting for maintaining their anonymity, such as the eventual runner-up player also referred to as Manjak. He had to settle for the consolation prize of €34,638 after a two-way deal was arranged, bringing fair payout to both players.

Among the players with interesting nicknames, there was also a participant registered as Sheldon Cooper, the well-known leading character in the CBS television series The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon. He claimed the 61st spot and a total of €679. Now that the German Poker Days festival came to a conclusion, another one is due to launch this Wednesday – International Poker Cup. The congregation starts with intense action and a Main Event first thing Thursday, boasting a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000.
